CTTT MoCo members at Button Farm

The Montgomery County (MoCo) CTTT meeting is generally held on the 2nd Thursday of every month from 7p-9p on Zoom. (PLEASE NOTE: we will continue meeting “virtually” for the foreseeable future and invite YOU to join us, regardless of where you live. Complete the contact form below for more information)

 

The MoCo CTTT group plans both in person and online activities and events.  This includes attending events in and around the area (current and historic events, restaurants, movie night, and more).  We also partner with other CTTT Local Affiliates and Historic Button Farm in Germantown, MD, attending and participating in programs and activities at the farm.

We support a book group which meets regularly.  Together we discuss both fiction and non-fiction suggested by book group members.  A few of the books we have discussed in the past are, How the Word Is Passed, The Water Jar, and Passing.

 

Our intention is to make racial equity a lived reality for everyone!  We offer a supportive and welcoming space to gather and engage in uncomfortable conversations about race.  Centering on dismantling racism, our monthly discussions encourage working together to promote racial equity and social justice using the CTTT approaches (Uncovering History, Making Connections, Working Towards Healing and Taking Action).  See our upcoming meetings schedule at the bottom of this page.

 

We are a friendly and sociable group encouraging participation from all ages as we learn and grow together. We look forward to you taking a seat at the table.
