FreedomWalk2026 is a modern-day retracing of the Underground Railroad, marking the 30th anniversary of historian Anthony Michael Cohen’s original walk. Spanning 700 miles to Canada during the U.S. Semiquincentennial, the pilgrimage will honor freedom seekers of the past while galvanizing communities today to walk together in truth, justice, and liberation.
