CTTT Co-Manager Tom DeWolf interviewed on NPR
The Healing Racism Institute in Springfield, MA is grappling with the legacy of slavery in multiple ways, through trainings and public events. They brought author Tom DeWolf in for a talk with the institute’s interim director, Rev. Dr. Terrlyn Curry Avery. DeWolf is a descendant of the largest slave trading family not just in New England, but in the whole nation. On October 22, the two spoke about his book, Inheriting the Trade and the documentary Traces of the Trade.
