We typically meet the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month via Zoom and you’re invited to join us!
In our ongoing reparations-focused series we’ll explore themes of racial justice in multiple areas of modern life, noting how the through-lines of our history shape our experiences. During our online events, attendees will learn about national trends in repair and healing in these areas and will engage in conversation with our grantees, whose work is focused on healing the Black communities of Colorado. While we plan to have some formal presentations, much of what we will discuss will be “crowd-sourced” – the more experiences, questions and stories you bring to the table, and the more of the assigned materials you read in advance, the better our discussion. We’ll also discuss concrete actions people can take to unwind harm, including participating in our volunteer programs. Typical sessions include presentations, Q and A sessions, grantee speaker panels and breakout group discussions.
