Local Group + Partner Gathering: Charlottesville, VA
January 18 @ 12:00 pm - 3:30 pm EST
Coming To The Table-Charlottesville is collaborating with The White Feather Project and the Jefferson School to sponsor the film “Emanuel” which documents how the Charleston community responded to the tragedy of the 2015 Emanuel Church mass shooting. The story shows how the community found its way through anger and grief towards forgiveness and healing. There will be a discussion that follows the viewing, focusing on what our own community can learn from another community’s experiences of racial violence and trauma.
Presented by Coming to the Table, The White Feather Project and The Jefferson School. View the flyer HERE for more information. We hope you will join us for this special opportunity.
