Resources

Coming to the Table has compiled a wealth of resources to support YOU and any group you belong to or lead (CTTT Local Affiliate Group, church, school, or any group focused on racial healing) as you work toward truth-telling, liberation, and transformation. Please make use of any and all of the resources we’ve gathered below covering Self Education, Mindfulness, Reparations, Leading Local Groups, Genealogy, and Speaking.

Click on any of the categories below to view the resources we’ve gathered:

Reparations

We define reparations as the taking of affirmative steps to repair the historic injustices done to African Americans during slavery, Jim Crow and later.

Mindfulness

The ability to be mindful in stressful times is a skill that can greatly improve our ability to respond to ourselves and others with kindness, compassion, and wisdom.

Genealogy

Genealogical Research rests at the core of the Coming to the Table Approach and its focus on Facing History openly and honestly. Many members of CTTT are active and skilled genealogists.

Leading Local Groups

The most important action you can take on the path to racial healing, liberation & transformation is to create the opportunity for people to gather together in your community in a space designed for deep dialogue, accountability, and truth-telling.

Educate Yourself

One of the most important actions in Taking America Beyond the Legacy of Enslavement is to continue to educate ourselves. We’ve gathered and organized this wealth of materials, both to read and videos to watch, to help you do just that.

CTTT Speaker's Toolkit

Coming to the Table has developed this Toolkit of resources for use by speakers, workshop leaders, educators, CTTT Local Groups, and others to accurately provide an overview of Coming to the Table.
