We welcome people of all backgrounds, faiths and ancestries to the Table for sharing, exploration, history and healing. We invite participants to speak as well as listen with respect as we make a place for the truth of the continuing legacies of slavery and racism in the United States. By creating trust and building relationships we intend to transcend our differences and learn from each other.
We meet in the historic Atlanta Baha’i Center, a block from Ebenezer Baptist Church where Martin Luther King Jr. preached and led the civil rights movement. The Baha’I Center itself was an early place where people of different races came together to worship and celebrate the oneness of humanity.
